Some forty 3rd year students studying Advertising and Public Relations at the University of Vic visited Girbau headquarters last Friday March 21st, as part of a collaboration agreement that has been arranged so that they can prepare videos for launching new Girbau products.
The students will carry out the project within the framework of the course’s Advertising creativity unit.
At the end of the year they will present the projects to Girbau, which will make a selection. The chosen projects will be produced in the studies of the University of Vic’s Faculty of Communication and Business during the coming academic year. The plan is to present them at the Expodetergo trade fair in Milan and the Hostelco trade fair in Barcelona, at the end of October and during November.
The initiative has been devised "to promote the creativity of future advertising talent that is sure to bring a breath of fresh air to a sector that is sometimes too industrial and technical. In this way we will also have an opportunity to strengthen the collaboration that we have enjoyed with the University of Vic for many years" affirmed Girbau’s Communication Manager, Mercè Bover.
The pupils attended an introductory session to present both the products to be launched and the company itself, and later they visited the Calandra laundry in Vic, where they were able to see the Girbau products in operation.
